Great link Deepa!! What fantastic news.. Sometimes I am amazed by positive steps taken by our own BMC... like appointing college students as field marshals to catch and fine people and shop keepers throwing rubbish and now this...

There is light in the end of the tunnel after all :)

I think slowly but surely people are becoming more conscious.

Have you noticed the word ”eco” being used everywhere now a days? This Ganesh festival was all about ”eco” whether it was on radio, or press or our Mayor talking.

It sure is great to see people getting more aware about environment abuse and also doing something about it.. and this compulsory recycling of grey water is such a terrific news!!!

Until unless the government compels us to take eco-steps, most of the citizens will keep dodging them.

However I think that the ”eco” factor is still not correctly implemented. Most of the times, its just to generate attention.
