I really admire Solis. This is what is called true love and I guess this is what love should be all about.
Isn’t it cute that he is loosing his weight with encouragement and help from his lady love???.... as they say, behind every successful man, there is a woman :)

Love is blind holds true here! What’s interesting is that she succeeded in motivating him to loose weight!

This is sweet... Its like something you would see in movies.. motivating your loved one to overcome obstacles...don’t forget hormonal imbalance is also a part of the problem.

I too haven’t seen ”Shallow Hal” but Zach, I too agree that reality is very different from what is shown in movies.

I know at least 2 real life couples where one of the person is not ’perfect’ but they are doing wonderful together.
In one case, the hubby is obese and wife is a well known orthopedic doctor. They had studied in same school and met after many years, feel in love and got married. She is actually motivating and helping him to loose weight and with her help, he is slowly but surely loosing those EXTRA EXTRA kilos.
There’s another good friend of mine whose wife’s eyesight is very weak, but they have been married for almost 12 yrs now and together they doing just fine. So good things do happen in real life too :)
Incidentally, my obese friend and his lovely wife had a wonderful baby boy about a year ago (info for people who doubt if such couples can share a normal relationship).

Marriage necessarily doesn’t mean a reason to be legal on bed. Lets leave how, when and why to the couple in question. Getting in to a matrimonial relation plays a prime role in making the love more stronger and giving it a firm shape.

One good story for people disheartened for the lack of a partner. I have known so many people around me to have huge waistlines and they always believe that there is no body who would fall in love with them. This story is now getting out of this place and I’ll make sure that I narrate it to that bunch. While a couple of them might get clobbered, I am banking on the success of any one of them, who might find someone like Solis, which would be enough to inspire the rest. It is just inspiration you need to make a difference at the end of the day! I just hope that the inspiration does not become too infectious for Shimla is a small place and we might have some real fatsos chasing chicks in every corner of the town.

Or it can be the other way round also. Being inspired By Solis women might start chasing fat men!

LOl, didn’t know that Shimla had so many fat guys who are in need of a partner. However such a story is certainly a gr8 source of inspiration for those who loose hope of finding a spouse who would love them for who they are and not loathe them for their obesity (which can be result of hormonal imbalance).

Leena I doubt such a story can inspire any woman to chase obese guys :)Until unless he is a rich dude.

yeah deepa, in our country i’ve seen some of the fattest(or rather the ugliest men) getting the most beautiful women because they are rich.

As for me, I think I can never go for a fat guy if he is rich (not for a million dollars!). Once I got such a proposal and turned it down. I would have certainly gone for him if he would have had a golden heart.
