What??? $30,000 for THIS ugly set of wheels?? You have got to be kidding me!! I mean its not even an art car!! Gosh, I’d certainly looooove to see this monstrosity destroyed in a drag race!!

I find it a unique car. I love to read and collect pictures of different car design and style. Thanks for posting it there you gave me another unique car collection. I always read some auto related topics like autopartswarehouse and car fashion magazine but I never seen like the guitar car.

Hi: I own the Voxmobile and guess what, if you had to build this car in today’s dollars it would be closer to $200K. So rest assured I won’t be drag racing it - although it goes 175MPH!!! It’s an iconic piece of Americana from the 60’s and I love it. Was after it for years but it goes to show you - one persons trash is another’s treasure!!!

Congrats Kevin in finding and eventually purchasing it. Does everything still function on it and what condition is it in? Would love to see a current photo of it.

As for Asmita... You have a right to your opinion. That said, iF you know your car/Kustom history, then you should know who George Barris is and that he designed and built this vehicle per the request of the VOX company. It was for promotional purposes... Kind of like what OCC does today with custom motorcycles and choppers.
