Yeah, Dubai and AbuDhabi are rising higher and faster than the rest of the world can imagine. They’ve got the zest, power and money to realize their soaring dreams.

PHEW....!!!! This is ”extremest” Engineering! Over 800 mts, accommodate over 35000 people, wow..... wonder what kind of extremely high speed elevators will be used in this. The pictures are also awesome!
Good work the Arab world is doing for life after oil.. tourist will bring in the money they have got so used to. But like Taipei 101, just a matter of time before someone else comes up with bigger and higher dream... but truly incredible.

I don’t think Burj Dubai’s soaring record can be beaten any soon. It is out-of-reach kinda height as of yet.

I won’t bet on that. The race towards sky is hotting up. But even if it does get surpassed, it won’t do much harm. Its like even today any visitor to KL goes to Petrona’s towers and the real estate value in such places is very high. So the country and the promoter of such structure never looses......plus they get their 15 mins of fame, so to speak :)
