John, I couldn’t agree more. Disclaimer, I sell poker tables. However, I still think a lot of people really like a quality homemade table. Plus most people aren’t going to shell out 30k for an electronic one. In fact even people who go to the casino are mixed on whether or not they like the automated tables. Some of the pros like them because they can get more hands in, but I don’t think you will ever see an electronic poker table at the world series.

On a side note. John has some wicked cool poker tables at his site http://komodotables.com. The prices are excellent and he seems to have some innovative ideas. I really like the cupholders right next to each other. It definitely gives a different look. It is a shame he’s only selling in the Chicago Area for the moment.
