L’atelier WM is a a group of young artists founded in Paris in 2008. They have a line of colorful candles, both in looks and attitude. Hands making gestures cast from real hands and whose burn time is approximately 3 hours each.

Fun stuff!! I’m sure you’ll be fascinated and ravished to know that here in France the gesture of the white and black ones means ”telephone” and that of the red and blue ones - ”f-you”!! My favourite? The orange one on the bottom-left. It seems sort of a peaceful gesture....

More or less here in India also such gestures indicate similar messages. But these candles are really cool, aren’t they?

Yep. They’re cool all right, until you light them. Then the tips get very hot lol!!

Hmmmm... wondering how would people react when they see a hand with burning finger tips in dark rooms? Scary I think.. straight out of a horror flick.
