I believe in holidays where you can go where you want, when you want, and take your home comforts with you! This Christmas, I am planning to go around Australia with my guy and so we need a caravan to complete the picture. And so I hit the search...

Could have done better with that description Deepa for its a concept design and somehow fitting it into a virtual reality sounds weird. Such Caravans wouldn’t surface before 2050 for its theme it too complicated to be put into production at present.

Atul, I have mentioned that while searching for some practical and affordable caravans, I came across this ‘ahead of its time’ kinda caravan. And it’s the unique designing that has wooed my instincts. However some times even knowing that certain things are out of our reach, we still dare to dream about owning them, don’t we?

Hi Deepa! Thanks for posting this one!
The project is already a few years old, dating back to my days at the Design Academy Eindhoven, in Holland.
It was mainly put up as a concept study, trying to combine the best of a folding trailer and a conventional caravan. Although after some research later on i found out it won’t be that hard to realise and manufacture, it’s a pretty simple technical setup, actually.
Anyway, really cool to see it popping up at a few forums now! :)
