Interesting. Good to see luxurious products also getting eco-friendly. Or it may be eco-friendly products getting luxurious ... any which ways, its good news :)

Yeah, but I haven’t seen too many eco-friendly LCDs. I had read earlier about LCDs being solar powered so I guess that’s one more thing they could have added.. or be more inventive.

I was going to write about this product but now I know how it disappeared from the Newsroom (Hehehe) Excuse me for my shoddy sense of humor Deepa: P Anyways moving on, the product certainly is very interesting. I am not a big fan of the shimmer, but then again a LCD made out of reusable components definitely isn’t a common phenomenon.

LOl.....Nithya, I too was eyeing this eye-candy LCD. I loved the concept of merging luxury, bling with eco=features. Very unusual in our eco-blogopshere!

The thought behind the creating such a product certainly is admirable. I wish the diamonds would add on to the utility of the product apart from the sheer shine or am I asking too much here?? Also the price is a little too extravagant but then again I don’t think the price was kept by keeping us commoners in mind.

Nithya in my post, I have already mentioned that if only some innovative idea of ”generating power from those diamonds could also lift up its eco-points.”

Eco-friendly + luxurious (diamonds) = beyond the reach of common people :(

”I wish the diamonds would add on to the utility of the product” - I guess the only utility as of now is give good resale value :)
