Two nights ago, I had a handful of M&M’s. In fact, I can tell you I ate seven of the peanut kind, which is my favorite. Under normal circumstances, I would’ve simply grabbed a bunch, mindlessly eaten them while talking to a colleague...

hmmm..... was thinking over this article wrt me. As I said, I do watch what I eat most of the times, but on weekends I do indulge and feel terrible on Mondays...
I think I will try maintaining a weekend food diary to know exactly how much guilty I should feel on Monday’s :)

Impractical to do it over a long period. I am sure maintaining record of what you eat, how much calories they add and how much calories you burn in a day would help if you want to loose or maintain weight, but won’t it take away the fun from your life?
I have been trying to watch what I eat since last couple of months but I would hate to make a note in a diary every time I eat something. May be good for people who are seriously overweight and need lots of discipline to loose weight.
