Traveling into the future, about two decades ahead, moving about is going to be more fun, green and of course, modish. I simply hope to live that long to benefit from the avant-garde eco concepts looming over the future horizon. Today it’s the 2030...

The design is kind of funny and weird but I love it..... spl the green glass looks. Looks good for short trips. But where are the wheels?

The wheels are right there. Two in front and two at rear. They are hiding...clearly visible in the images.

I am sure there are wheels in this car but was wondering cause the front wheels don’t look full circle to me and the back wheels are very well hidden somewhere... looking from today’s view, wonder how they will check their air pressure.

Looks cool, but I don’t think it would ever survive a winter. The snow would get stuck in the wheel casings and I can’t tell, but it looks like it’s too low to the ground. Maybe it would be best in climates that don’t get much snow. Either way, it’s nice to see different designs!

I must agree that the wheels are almost absent on this one but nothing new about that in a concept design. Practically speaking, the chassis is so low that it would be practically impossible to take this around unless on tracks. But its just a ’concept’ so enjoy that part and maybe by the time it hits the roads, we will have mag-lev powered levitation tracks which will do away with wheels. :)

Its funny how we all have noticed issues with the wheels of this design and snow will certainly cause trouble. I am sure the designers have thought thru it but Sameer, your idea is perfect. Levitated car seems the best soln for this design and who knows we may see it happen in some cities :)

When in conceptual stage, designs are not 100% practical. The designers leave a lot of room for improvement when reached at a production level.

BTW, I was wondering if we will be still using the roads to travel? Won’t we have flying cars by then? Like the Jetsons?

Sure but I feel we maybe missing something as far as wheels are concerned. The issues are quite apparent.
But you know what, you may be right. We may have flying cars by then so who needs wheels anyways!
